THE COLONIAL CHRONICLE:
HISTORY WITH A TWIST
What if a newspaper reporter during the Revolutionary War was
a teenager? Not just a teenager, but one with a unique perspective
who wrote like a teen from 2007? Find out with our whimsical, but
educational series called "The Colonial Chronicle: With Samuel Liberty".
You'll never look at history the same again.
Samuel Liberty is a fictional character. The real writer of the Colonial Chronicle is Chuck A. Hyde, the son of the Stand Beside Her.com editor, Chuck Hyde. I'm 13 years old, and the Colonial Chronicle started as a Social Studies project for school. My mom, Brenda Hyde, edits them for me. My friends Miles and Bobby helped me on Issue 6. I do not mean to offend anyone, even the French or the Democrats. I live in the Northern Midwest and I enjoy drawing, reading, and hanging out with my friends. I have only one more thing to say: God Bless America!
